Bixel Exchange's LA Tech talent pipeline program:

Apply NOW to be a part of the Bixel Exchange’s L.A. Tech Talent Pipeline Internship Program! The majority of their internships will be remote. Apply ASAP to have the best chance of getting an internship.  More info is below!  Once you complete an application, please fill out this survey to let Natasha know you applied so she can put in a good word for you and ensure you receive summer school credit.  The application is a little difficult/wonky, so please let Natasha know if you have any trouble with it.



WHAT:  PAID Summer Internships through the LA Area Chamber of Commerce’s Bixel Exchange program.  There are over 200 internship opportunities this summer with Snap, Inc., Boingo Wireless, Fox Sports West, and many more! 



  • Jan. 17th: Application opens

  • June 26th:  Application closes (but applying earlier gives you better chances)



  1. For employer-paid internships

    1. Over 18 years old

    2. Right to work in US

    3. Available to work at least 20 hours/week or full time in the summer

  2. For City of LA and County of LA Subsidized Internships

    1. 16-24 years old

    2. Resident of the City or County of LA

    3. Qualify as low-income

    4. Available to work 20 hours/week


MORE ABOUT THE PROGRAM: The Bixel Exchange’s L.A. Tech Talent Pipeline Internship is in partnership with Mayor Eric Garcetti’s office and is an incredible opportunity for students/youth in your network to get that critical “foot-in-the-door” for a high-growth and high-paying tech careers. Out of the 450 interns placed in the past two years, nearly 40% went on to receive full or part-time employment with one of our 60+ tech company partners!


THE INTERNSHIP POSITIONS:  The positions that we’re recruiting for range from marketing and digital media to IT support and software development – with everything in-between! To see the breadth yourself, check out our google folder of internships that we are recruiting for/have recruited for in the past. Not all positions require coding or what you might think of when you think of “tech” in a traditional sense – there really is something for everyone, at any level of technical experience!  In addition this year we are partnering with Cornerstone OnDemand Foundation to offer our students access to the workforce ready platform. An online learning tool for youth to learn soft skills that they may not be taught in school. This platform will be made available to all youth who apply!  


GUIDELINES:  For consideration, you must fill out the application completely.  Please include:

  • A reference – Name and email from a teacher, coach, etc. (not a relative).
