1. Nonprofit Internship Interview Fair – Thursday, Sept. 15th from 9am-12pm. In 1 week, you will have the opportunity to put your resume, cover letter, and interview skills into practice. During this mandatory event, nonprofit organizations who want DVX interns will be on campus to interview you for a nonprofit internship placement. After the event, organizations will be able to rank their top DVXers and you will have be able to rank the top organizations you would like to intern with. More details will follow, but in the meantime please mark your calendars! This is the way you will obtain a nonprofit internship for this semester.
2. Medical Internship Opportunity – I have an immediate opening for a part-time internship at Kerlan-Jobe Surgery Center. This is a sports medicine clinic near the Fox Hills mall that performs orthopedic surgeries using cutting-edge technology to help thousands of athletes get back into the game at peak performance. Their orthopedic surgeries are often studied by the best physicians in the U.S. to learn from their surgical team’s breakthroughs in sports medicine. As an intern, you would assist with a variety of duties relating to the clinic –ranging from administrative office work, to even getting to be in the surgery and recovery rooms. This is a perfect internship if you are interested in a career in the medical field. The internship is part time, unpaid, with flexible hours.
