The 2-year UCLA and El Camino Transfer Program is for students that wish to transfer* to a 4-year university. Students will take the minimum required 60 units of general education transferable courses through both UCLA Extension and El Camino College. Courses selected also meet all the minimum requirements for the IGETC. IGETC (pronounced eye-get-see) stands for Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum. It is a course pattern that community college students can use to satisfy lower division GE requirements for either the CSU or the UC. Enrolment is guaranteed and books and all required materials are included for free. Courses are offered on the DVX, UCLA and El Camino campuses as well as online. Please be aware that this pathway includes 2 courses that will be taken during the summer sessions at El Camino.
